The Department of Economics offers Postgraduate Programs in Economics, Business Administration and Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The Department offers, in collaboration with other Departments of AUTh, the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programs of Tourism and Regional Development, Management and Information Systems, Governance and Regional Growth, Complex Systems and Networks.
The Program aims to promote knowledge, by deepening in Economic Theory and by developing critical thinking for strategic economic policy decisions. It also aims to promote comprehension and application of the advanced quantitative methods related to Economics in economic data and evaluation of the empirical results.
The program aims to promote research and provide training and specialized knowledge to graduates of higher education, as well as to executives of companies and organizations with some previous work experience, who wish to expand their specialization in Business Administration.
The Program provides a comprehensive set of courses that help graduates and business executives to acquire the theoretical background and develop practical skills, necessary for those who wish to pursue a career in the complex business environment and supply systems, but also for those interested to specialize in relevant areas of academic research.
The program is organized by the Department of Economics in collaboration with the Departments of Forest and Natural Environment, Agriculture, Spatial Planning and Development Engineers, Theology and Law.

The Interdepartmental Program of Postgraduate Studies in Managment and Information Systems of the Departments of Informatics and Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki operates since the academic year 2003-2004. Its goal is the creation of high-level specialized executives in Informatics and Management with deep knowledge and specialization in the field of Information Systems and their use in Management Science.
The program is organized by the Department of Economics in collaboration with the Departments of Mathematics, Biology and Geology of AUTh. The students of the program first acquire the basic mathematical and technical background which they then apply to Knowledge Networks, Bio-Medical Networks and Socio-Economic Networks.
